Tom Touchstone

Tom Touchstone is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has resided in Coweta County since 1977. Touchstone is an active Certified General property appraiser and has been appraising land, commercial and residential properties in the southern and western metro Atlanta region since 1992 after four years as an apprentice appraiser.

As co-owner of Dunaway Appraisal Services, his appraisal experience has served thousands of clients including banks, mortgage companies, individuals, attorneys. federal agencies, counties and municipalities. Touchstone has extensive real estate appraisal education with the Appraisal Institute completing MAI candidacy courses including general applications, Highest and Best Use Analysis and Advanced Income Capitalization. His valuation services have assisted his clients in pricing property, Highest and Best Use analysis, investment analysis, estate settlement and mortgage lending among various other purposes.

As an appraiser, Touchstone maintains perhaps one of the most comprehensive land and commercial sales databases in the surrounding Coweta County area.

Touchstone is a member of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors and Georgia MLS. He is an active member of First United Methodist Church and enjoys golf and the outdoors.
