Sam Bowers, President of Bowers and Burns Real Estate Team, is an Accredited Land Consultant and seasoned real estate professional with a career beginning in 1988. His roots in agriculture run deep—he has been a farmer since 1976 and studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Georgia and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Sam has long been active in leadership within his profession and community. He has served on the board of directors for the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors, Coweta County Farm Bureau, Coweta-Fayette Trust Operation Round-Up, and the Coweta County Board of Zoning Appeals. In 2006, he was elected President of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors, and he is a past president of both the Georgia Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute and the Coweta Cattlemen’s Association. Most notably, Sam served as National President of the Realtors Land Institute in 2024, representing land professionals across the country.
His contributions extend further—Sam served on the Coweta County Impact Fee Advisory Committee in 2005 and was honored as Coweta County’s “Realtor of the Year” in 2004. He is also an active member of the Georgia Association of Realtors and Georgia MLS.
